How we choose products

• We prioritize products available in Canada (Amazon.ca or Canadian retailers)
• We choose on published specifications, price, and verifiable reviews from Canadian growers — we do not test every item we name
• Where a product has to meet a specification to be safe, we say what that specification is and we do not recommend something that misses it
• We do not accept paid placements that override our editorial judgment

Editorial independence

Our recommendations are not influenced by commission rates. If a product we genuinely recommend isn't available through an affiliate program, we still recommend it — we just link to it directly without a commission.
